Practice with Me

The classes in this section use the poses from the Fishman method. You will notice a pose name below some of the classes. You will find that pose in the class. If you click on it, it takes you to the pose library where you can find modifications as well as practice the pose on its own.The Classic series of poses, found in the pose library, were the ones used in the published study. (see www.sciatica.org )

Your will also find in this area classes grouped focusing on balance as well as a group on strength using resistance bands and hand weights.


 
 

Beginner Level Classes

If you are new to yoga start practicing here. Over time when you feel more familiar with the practice you can explore the intermediate level. Alignment is very important so do not progress too fast and compromise your alignment.

 

Intermediate Level Classes

If you are familiar with yoga and have been practicing awhile start here. You can always take an intermediate class and if a pose is too difficult substitute that version with a modification. It is important to honor your body and keep your breath from becoming short and choppy.

 

Balance Classes

These classes have a focus on challenging your balance and strengthening areas to help with balance. We can improve our balance and it is important to practice it. Some of the movements may seem unconventional to yoga- give it a try!
